sunset with clouds.....

Hi everyone.......OMG.....wow how long as this taken me...Hours and hours and I'm still not happy with it, I have used  so many colours.... nearly 50 promarkers!!!

The sky has been so many colours, Ive used greys, purples yellows, oranges,  peach I think I ruined it when I got the black out to try and add a bit more depth to the clouds.... but I think the paper had  had too much ink on by then and I'd saturated it ...it just couldn't take anymore.....lol.

So here it is... any top tips for me please let me know...... I think the main one is I should know when to STOP!!!!

 

I'm putting this in the Make It Colorful challenge to colour a sunset with clouds.

Well  I tried .... and I'm glad I had  a go... and will definatley do it again.

 Thias gorgeous image is from the  Make it Crafty Face book group which the fabulous Zoe gave as a freebie.

 I have coloured this image using the no black line technique.... I printed the digi off so it was very light and hardly visible.

The Outlawz DT....... anything goes

Hey there everyone..... it fast approaching the end of the month so over on the Outlawz group it's time for our anything goes challenge using copics/promarkers....

Here is what I have made ....

 

 I have used the super cute Racer Lewis from Prairie Fairy.....

 I have attempted to put in my own background using my markers.... didn't think about it too much .... just went for it!!!...lol.    Hmmmmm I think it would have been better with some clouds in the sky!

I have added a touch of glossy accents to his goggles....

something a bit different......

Hi there everyone just dropped in for a quick post to show you what I've been playing with....

It's a bit different but  I have been wanting to try it out for a while now...

I have altered  a domino......it's really quick and very easy to do.........I have coloured the domino with my promarkers, then I stamped on to it with stazon ink... although this ink never work when I'm colouring!!

Waited a while to make sure it was completly dry and then covered in it diamond glaze......let it dry again and then glued a bead at the top to thread some cord through.... and that's it.... easy peasy.

I'm gonna push my look a little here and see if I can enter it into the Passion for Promarker challenge this week which is no patterend papers.

Fairies in the attic......

Hey there you guys......

Just popped in to post my entry for the challenge over on Make it Colourful...

there theme is to ground your image......

This has taken me aaaaages to colour nearly two days.!!!!

I was trying to work out the light source and where the shadows would fall and then  to attempt to do old floorboards........ boy I have had several cups of coffee with this one... I'm mostley happy with it but there are few things that were in my head that don't look the same...lol.

..... but before I could do that I had to learn how to merge the digi images together..... Ooooh I've learnt allsorts doing this challenge.......

Good morning everyone...... It's my turn over on CES Challenges to set the theme for this weeks challenge and I have chosen......

 I have used the gorgeous Fizzy Moon stamps for my image and the text.......

 My image has been stamped with a really pale coloured ink so you can't see any black lines, this does make it more difficult to colour though.....give it a try.

I have coloured the image with promarkers and the new fine liner tips to add extra detail and shading....

The Outlawz DT.....how does your garden grow

Hi there crafty folk.... it's friday so that means it's time for a new challenge over on the Outlawz group

This week our theme is 

How does your garden grow

I have done mine a little different today. The fabulously talented Zoe at make it crafty started a new challenge for everyone on her facebook group.... stamping and colouring without black lines!!!!.... I have stamped my image with Memento desert sand... so there are no black lines on the image....it's quite difficult and needs a bit  more concentration  to do and gives a different effect.....You don't realise how you rely on those black lines...lol.

I have used a sarah kay stamp for my card today

 You can see on the close up without black lines you get a softer feel... but don't look too closely...lol.

 I have altered one of the make it crafty chippie dragonflies.... first I coloured it with promarkers and then spritzed it with comic shimmer gold and then added some pearls to the body.

Well thank you for stopping by again..... get those markers out and head over  to the challenge, the DT girlies have made some gorgeous cards again.

Molly Blooms.....A new challenge

Hope you like my diva...  had trouble getting the glitter to show up on her dress, but it is there... I had fun colouring this and using some brighter colours for change... different from my usual stuff....
