Hi there, did you miss me, it's been a few days since I posted, I have been out and about and trying to sort the kids out for school, So I thought I would just pop in with a little post to share my Tiddly Inks Everyday Princess

This was one of those images I just wanted to colour, it reminds me of me in my rock chick days..minus the crown obviously...ha haaa ( although I am still a bit of a rock chick at  heart)

This has been coloured with a mix of promarkers and copics

I am so glad you dropped by to see me I have a few things going on behind the scenes I need to think about, all good stuff though :)

Make It Crafty DT call.....

Hi everyone Have you heard Zoe over at Make It Crafty is having a DT call.....have you entered...I thought I would have a go, I know I'm not the best ' colourer'  but I love to have the challenge to try some different techniques and media... I not all my projects go to plan, but usually I learn something along the way and I can then share my'happenings'...lol, but there is always someone who can help out and point me in the right direction of what to try another time.....I'm waffling arn't I instead of sharing my project which is different for me.... I used completley different 'stuff' to usual wether that's good or bad... IT WAS FUN...

I used Make it Crafty's Chubby Seahorse

I printed the fab Seahorse on to Hot Pressed Watercolour paper and slightly reduced the opacity, I used my brand new  Derwent Graphitint water soluble pencils to colour, which was a whole new technique to learn...but one I think I will have fun with... Oh yeah and  I had to make up my own background... do you think it works ..?

Well I will go and submit this now... Good luck to everyone taking part..

Thank you for stopping by again I hope you  have  had a good week..
See you again real soon

Derby in the subject line please and please note you have 24 hours to request them as freebies, please understand that it is expected you use the digis for the challenge, and of course any time after that as you please. Please do NOT share the files, if a friend wants to participate please direct them to Simply Betty blog or to the Stamping Chef blog for instructions on how to get them for free. They will be put up for sale after 24 hours for anyone wanting them without having to do the challenge, but why not try to win the challenge from each team right?
Now onto the details! The challenge starts today August 21st, 2013 and will run until August 28th at 11:59 PM PST. You have until then to upload. Each team The Vulture Knockouts (aka The Stamping Chef) vs. The Skullhead Babes (aka Simply B Stamps) will then vote on a winner for each team. You can certainly do both challenges!

For The Stamping Chef your challenge with Kitty Paw Vultura you must do a recipe:
1 ribbon, 2 buttons 3 pieces of background paper

For Simply B Stamps your challenge with Bonnie Skullbabe you must do a color combo:
Hot Pink, Lime Green, and Black (this is for your colors of clothing, papers, embellishments).
Pretty simple right?
So what's in the Winner's Pot? Each company will be choosing one winner for their image, the winner will receive a $10 gift Certificate from which ever company the winner wins! Who knows, you may win on both sides then you have $10 to spend at each store! Whoohoo!! Just remember each company is giving away only one Gift Certificate for their challenge, just so there are no misunderstandings, you will win from either or company. Winners will be announced here, on the gallery site, and at The Stamping Chef blog on Friday August 30th.
Good luck and have loads of fun with these two sexy women!

Now where to upload your entries? That is simple too...both SBS and TSC entries are to be uploaded

Make It Crafty.... Alice in Wonderland Tea Party

Welcome to the very special Make it Crafty Tea Party!

Today, I'm joining the fun with a collection of Make it Crafty fans from around the world,
serving you a delicious array of crafty delights to celebrate not only the magical release of ‘Alice in Wonderland’
but also Make it Crafty’s THIRD Birthday!!

What better way to celebrate than a tea party full of Make it Crafty fans?

As you chase the white rabbit down holes, through small doors, around corners and more…
keep your eye out for hidden letters, collecting them along the way.
Simply decipher the ‘question’ and then enter the answer at the end of the hop for a chance to win the grand prize!

It wouldn’t be a fun tea party without hidden prizes along the way,
so make sure you comment as you chase the rabbit for a chance to win more prizes!

Hopefully you’ve found your way through the door from    Carol          but if you’ve just fallen down the hole then you might want to start back at Zoe

The guests were given the option to play with 6 images from the new collection and I chose to get creative with… Steampunk Caterpillar
I used a mix of copics and promarkers to colour my image, I merged the Steampunk Caterpillar with one of the Whimsical Beanstalk images also available from Make it Crafty...  and I printed it off at a reduced opacity...for a no lines look

 and The Queen
I used some basic colouring pencils for this image, I printed  The Queen over some Alice in wonderland text..I also altered the opacity for a no lines look..
The fun doesn't stop here you should head through this door to find
                                            Kimberly
You will find all the new gorgeous images at the Make It Crafty Store
Thank you so much for stopping by
I hope you enjoy the Hop and the images...
Have Fun
Happy Birthday to Make It Crafty
